To keep your girls laying eggs through the winter, just put a bright light in the coop on a timer and have it go off an hour before sunrise. I tried this about 6 weeks ago when egg production went to almost zero, I’m getting tons of eggs now! Good luck

Hens always look pathetic when moulting . It’s like pmt for poultry . You can up their protein intake to help feather regrow but they survive. I’ve got to treat my hens legs with petroleum jelly !
