Just curious if you've heard of positive reinforcement training for helping Salem get the "basics" down. I use a clicker with my girl along with a release word "okay/good girl" and we've done all sorts of training (38 commands in 2020 to be exact)! With training puppies you want to keep sessions short and sweet nothing more than 10-15 minutes as they get bored easily (just like us!) and switch it up, work on recall then have a few hours of break time then work on foundation obedience like "sit" so she isn't constantly working on the same thing and getting bored of it. She will be a wonderful dog when she grows up but right now its the hardest trying to get them to learn everything we want/need them to.
